Demand for Rubber Processing Chemicals to Reach 1.4 Million m.t. in 2015

Sales of rubber-processing chemicals will grow 4.7%/year through 2015, to approximately 1.4 million m.t., according to a study by The Freedonia Group (Cleveland, OH), an industry market research firm. The market will experience substantial gains in the Asia/Pacific, especially in China, where rubber chemical demand is projected to increase 8.1%/year through 2015 to more than 575,000 m.t.
