Flint Buys Packaging Ink Business; Starts Up New Plant

Flint Group (Luxembourg) is expanding in the packaging market with an agreement to acquire Siegwerk Group’s (Siegburg, Germany) packaging ink business in Australia and New Zealand, and the separate startup of a new $2-million ink facility at Atlanta that serves packaging and commercial printers. Terms were not disclosed for the Siegwerk business, which has annual sales of €25 million ($39 million).
