Schulman earnings rise 5% YOY

A. Schulman has reported fiscal first-quarter net income up 5% year-on-year (YOY), to $12.4 million, on net sales up 10%, to $585.4 million. Adjusted income, which excludes restructuring and other expenses, totals $16.7 million, up 14% YOY. Schulman’s fiscal first-quarter ended on 30 November 2013.
