'Green' flame retardant start-up closes $20-million series-C financing round

FRX Polymers (Chelmsford MA) has closed its series-C financing round at $20 million, the company has announced. The financing was led by the Flemish investment company, PMV (Brussels). Joining PMV are FRX’s current shareholders, Evonik Venture Capital (Hanau, Germany), DB Masdar Cleantech Fund (Abu Dhabi), BASF Venture Capital (Ludwigshafen, Germany), as well as several others.
