FDA approves Addivant's nonylphenol-free liquid antioxidant for food contact applications

FDA has approved Addivant's (Danbury, CT) registered Weston liquid antioxidant for food contact applications, the company announced today. The product is made using nonylphenol-free phosphite technology and provides enhanced polymer performance and higher processing productivity compared with conventional solid phosphites, Addivant says. The product is a highly effective stabilizer that protects polymers from degrading during use.
