Chemtura to Expand Antioxidant Capacity in Saudi Arabia

 Chemtura says it plans to expand its antioxidants capacity at its Gulf Stabilizer Industries (GSI; Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia) joint venture by 4,000 m.t./year, to 21,000 m.t./year. Engineering work has begun, and the new capacity will come on stream in 2010, Chemtura says. GSI needs to invest in further capacity "to keep ahead of the growing demand for our products in the region," says Fahad Al Zamil, director of Al-Zamil Group, Chemtura's jv partner...
