Chemtura Announces Sales Control on Certain Brominated Flame Retardants

Chemtura says it has implemented sales control on certain brominated flame retardants due to higher than anticipated demand and supply constraints on several raw materials. The company is also implementing a 30-day maximum price validity on the affected products, which include tetrabromobisphenol A (BA-59PR), decabromodiphenyloxide (DE-83RR), and decabromodiphenylethane (FiremasterR 2100R).
