BASF divests plastic additives unit PolyAd to private equity firm

BASF has signed an agreement to divest PolyAd Services (Earth City, MO), part of BASF's plastic additives business unit, to private equity firm Edgewater Capital Partners (Cleveland, OH), BASF announced. The closing of the transaction is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2014. The parties agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.
