The company will spend €17 million ($22.7 million) on the plant, which will produce Perkadox 14, used in rubber and thermoplastics, and Trigonox 101, used to control rheology of polypropylene and synthetic rubber. Demand for both products, used in the automotive, building and construction as well as durable goods industries, is increasing rapidly in Asia, AkzoNobel says.
