Artek Surfin completes Galata Chemicals buyout

Indian specialty chemicals maker Artek Surfin (Mumbai) announced today that it has completed its acquisition of 100% of Galata Chemicals, the former PVC additives business of Chemtura, for an undisclosed sum. Artek Surfin had previously owned a 50% stake in Galata, with the remainder owned by private equity firm Aterian Investment Partners (New York).
