BASF and Sinopec complete study for INA project in China, form new 50-50 jv

BASF and Sinopec have completed a joint feasibility study and taken the next steps to establish a world-scale isonanol (INA) plant at Maoming, China, BASF announced today. Both companies plan to form a 50-50 joint venture, BASF MPCC, to carry out the project. Production is expected to begin in mid-2015. The jv will integrate the INA plant into the existing Maoming Petrochemical Corp.
