Georgia Gulf Taps Segetis for Biobased Plasticizer

Georgia Gulf says it will use biobased plasticizers produced by Segetis (Golden Valley, MN) in a new line of flexible vinyl compounds “suitable for a variety of consumer and industrial end products” that would benefit from a non-phthalate solution. The plasticizers are based on cellulosic-based levulinic ketals and are broadly miscible with many resin families.
