Unilever, Solazyme Extend Renewable Oils Collaboration

Algae oils firm Solazyme (San Francisco) says it has expanded its commercial development deal with consumer goods giant Unilever. The two firms have been collaborating since 2009 to apply Solazyme’s technology to the production of tailored oils for use in Unilever’s soap, personal care, and nutritional products.
