Pedex produces specialty filaments for applications in cosmetics and hygiene, such as toothbrushes and medical equipment. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Pedex has sales of about €12 million ($16 million). Separately, Lenzing Plastics agreed to acquire plastics filaments maker Hahl Group (Munderkingen, Germany) earlier this year, from private equity company Granville Baird Fonds (Hamburg) and Hahl’s management (CW, Jan. 24...
