Dow Corning, Elevance Ink Development Deal

Dow Corning and Elevance Renewable Sciences (Lisle, IL) have signed joint development and marketing agreements to create a line of naturally derived ingredients for personal care applications, the companies say. Johnson: Renewable feeds lower cost. The partnership combines Elevance’s metathesis technology, which enables the use of multiple renewable feedstocks, with Dow Corning’s silicon-based technology.
