Clariant’s personal care unit has entered the renewable raw materials market through a long-term partnership with privately held biopolymers producer KitoZyme (Liège, Belgium). The deal includes plans for KitoZyme to manufacture biopolymers at Liège for Clariant, and Clariant will market KitoZyme’s biopolymers to the personal care sector.
