Croda buys emollients maker

Croda has acquired the assets of Innovachem (Cutchogue, NY), a maker of patented emollient products for personal care ingredients, the company says. The purchase price was $2.8 million, and Innovachem recorded $1.5 million in sales during 2012, reports say.
