Imerys to Close U.K. Unit Amid High Costs, Slow Demand

Imerys Pigments for Paper, a unit of Imerys, says it plans to close its ground calcium carbonate facility at Salisbury, U.K. by early 2009, amid rising production costs and slowing demand.
