Imerys Restructures Georgia Unit; Suppliers Boost Prices Further

Imerys Pigments for Paper North America, a unit of Imerys, says it is restructuring its Middle Georgia kaolin operations at Sandersville, GA, amid slowing demand in the North American paper market. Meanwhile, several paper chemical and mineral suppliers have announced another round of price hikes, which follow other increases in the last year.
