BASF starts production of styrene acrylic, styrene butadiene paper binders in Finland

BASF has started production of cost-efficient binders (CEB) based on styrene acrylics and styrene butadiene at its site at Hamina, Finland, the company has announced. The products were launched last year and have been mainly supplied from BASF's site at Ludwigshafen to customers in Central Europe and Eastern Europe. CEBs are an important building block in the growth plans of BASF's paper chemicals division, the company says.
