Archroma starts up as Clariant completes textile chemical, paper specialties, and emulsions divestment

Clariant says it has closed the sale of its textile chemicals, paper specialties, and emulsions businesses to SK Capital (Boca Raton, FL). The three former businesses are now operating under the name Archroma (Reinach, Switzerland). After some adjustments for working capital and for the lower operational performance of some parts of the businesses, the total purchase price consideration of the transaction will amount to approximately 425 million Swiss francs ($469.5 million), mainly consisting of a cash inflow of SF355 million and the transfer of pensions and...
