Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Paints and Coatings Tikkurila Plans Job Cuts9:06 AM MST | November 24, 2011 | Ian Young Paints and coatings company Tikkurila (Vantaa, Finland) has announced a group-wide restructuring that will result in up to 100 job cuts. Jobs will be lost across all of Tikkurila's personnel groups and functions. The company currently has about 3,700 employees, of whom about 750 are in Finland. The cuts are needed "to secure competitiveness in an uncertain and quickly changing market environment," Tikkurila says.
