Sherwin-Williams Completes Purchase of Swedish Industrial Wood Coatings Producer

 Sherwin-Williams (SW) has completed its previously announced acquisition of Becker Acroma (Stockholm) from Wilh. Becker (Stockholm) for SK1.7 billion ($227 million). Becker Acroma manufactures industrial wood coatings globally and is a technology leader in water, UV, and other wood coatings, SW says. Becker Acroma operates across 21 countries, and reported sales of SK2.1 billion in 2009.  Becker Acroma will become part of SW's global finishes group.
