ICL Acquires Corrosion Inhibitor Firm

ICL Performance Products (St. Louis), a subsidiary of Israel Chemical Limited (ICL), says it has acquired Halox (Hammond, IN). Financial terms were not disclosed. Halox produces phosphate-based corrosion inhibitor products for the paints and coatings industry, ICL says. The deal will extend ICL’s technical phosphate specialties offerings and expand its operations in the Americas, the company says.
