Honeywell Buys PE Wax Portfolio from Evonik

Honeywell has purchased Evonik’s polyethylene (PE) wax technology portfolio, including patents, the company says. The PE waxes have a number of uses in applications such as paints, coatings, adhesives, and inks, among others Honeywell says. Financial terms of the deal were not  disclosed. The technology features Zielger-Natta catalysts, which have been used in PE polymer production for over 50 years.
