EU Approves AkzoNobel Powder Coatings Deal

The European Commission has approved AkzoNobel's acquisition of Dow Chemical's powder coatings business, the commission announced today. The business was originally a part of Rohm and Haas, and passed into Dow's hands when the two merged last year.
