BASF to build coating additives plant at Nanjing to serve Asia/Pacific

BASF said today that it will build a coating additives production plant at Nanjing, China, which will cater for the Chinese and Asia/Pacific markets. The move will further strengthen its production footprint in Asia/Pacific, the company says. The plant, due onstream early next year, will initially focus on the production of solvent based additives under the BASF brand Efka, mainly for industrial and automotive coatings.
