BASF breaks ground on electrocoat plant at Shanghai

BASF broke ground today on a resin and electrocoat (e-coat) plant at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park at Caojing, China, the company says. The plant is scheduled to commence operating in the second half of 2015. It will help to address the increasing demand for high-quality coatings in various growing industries, notably the automotive industry, in Asia/Pacific, BASF says.
