(Mumbai) says its board of directors has approved plans to build its largest paints and coatings facility yet, at Haryana, India. Further site and investment details are still under review. The decorative coatings facility is likely to be commissioned next year and will be larger than 100,000 kiloliters (kl)/year, it adds. Asian Paints says its existing 100,000-kl/year facility at Chennai, India is currently its largest plant. India is a “low value-per-liter market,” and generates large volume sales...
