Asian Paints to Build its Largest Plant in India

India’s largest paintmaker Asian Paints Ltd. (Mumbai) says its board of directors has approved plans to build its largest paints and coatings facility yet, at Haryana, India. Further site and investment details are still under review. The decorative coatings facility is likely to be commissioned next year and will be larger than 100,000 kiloliters (kl)/year, it adds.
