Altana Completes USBP Unit Buy

Altana says it has completed the acquisition of United States Bronze Powders’ (USBP) effects pigments business, for an undisclosed sum. The acquired business includes bronze, copper, and stainless steel pigments, as well as press-ready metallic printing inks. Production will be transferred to Altana’s Eckart America and to its main facility at Güntersthal, Germany, the company says.
