Quaker Acquires Metalworking Lubricants Firm

Quaker Chemical says it has acquired G.W. Smith & Sons (Dayton, OH), a die casting lubricant provider with annual sales of approximately $14 million. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquired firm produces die cast lubricants, metalworking lubricants, and machining fluids, and will operate as a stand-alone Quaker subsidiary.
