New Valvoline plant in India

Ashland says its Valvoline Cummins (Gurgaon, India) joint venture has opened a manufacturing and packaging plant in the Ambernath industrial area, near Mumbai. The $30-million facility will produce Valvoline-branded automotive lubricants for the consumer, industrial, and heavy-duty markets. Initial production capacity of the plant will be 120 million liters/year with eventual capacity of 150 million liters/year. “Western India is a manufacturing hub that has the largest consumption of industrial lubricants among all regions,” says Sam Mitchell...
