ExxonMobil, UOP Form Lube and Fuel Production Alliance

ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company (EMRE) and Honeywell’s UOP subsidiary have formed a marketing and licensing alliance for their lube and advanced hydroprocessing and engineering capabilities. The alliance will offer optimized solutions for fuels and lubes refining customers, including EMRE’s fuels dewaxing technologies with UOP’s hydroprocessing solutions for producing high yields of ultra-low sulfur diesel with excellent cetane and low temperature flow properties.
