Eastman buys BP's aviation turbine oil business

Eastman Chemical (Kingsport, TN) has agreed to acquire BP’s $100-million/year global aviation turbine engine oil business, Eastman announced on 28 January. The acquisition will expand Eastman’s aviation products portfolio, which currently comprises its Skydrol aviation hydraulic fluids. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to close in the second quarter, have not been disclosed....
