Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Lubricants Croda's fourth-quarter profit rises to 5.1% despite European economic backdrop12:00 PM MST | February 26, 2013 | Francinia Protti-Alvarez Croda reports an increase of 5.1% in operating profit during the fourth quarter of 2012, to £61.9 million ($81.75 million). Sales rose by 2.2%, to £240.1 million, over the same period. The bulk of the sales, close to 57% of the revenue, were generated by the consumer care division which grew by 1.4%, from £134.4 million in the last quarter of 2011 to £136.3 million last year, driven by product launches.
