Stepan Acquires Lipid Nutrition Business

Stepan says it has acquired the Lipid Nutrition business of Loders Croklaan (Wormerveer, the Netherlands) for an undisclosed sum. The products, which include linoleic acid, omega-3 triglycerides, and an appetite suppressant made from pine nuts,  will be integrated into Stepan's Food and Health Specialties business. The segment will be renamed Stepan Lipid Nutrition.
