PureCircle Developing Next-Generation Stevia Sweetener

PureCircle (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) says it has signed an agreement with Michigan State University (MSU; East Lansing, MI) to jointly develop breeding programs for the stevia plant that will contain higher levels of rebaudioside A (Reb A), the glycoside within the stevia leaf that is used to make stevia-based sweeteners....
