Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Food additives Frutarom Buys Flavors and Ingredients Maker in Israel1:10 PM MDT | July 31, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Frutarom Industries says it has agreed to acquire Raychan Food Industries (Beerot Yitzhak, Israel), a producer and supplier of flavor compounds and functional ingredients, for $1.05 million, or about $1.23 million including debt and excluding working capital. Raychan generated $5.5 million in 2006 sales, Frutarom says. The deal is expected to be completed within three months, pending final approval by the Israeli Anti Trust Commissioner.
