EFSA launches public consultation on dietary reference values for niacin

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA; Pisa, Italy) has opened a public consultation on a draft scientific opinion on dietary reference values for niacin (nicotinic acid, or nicotinamide), water-soluble organic compounds that belong to the group of B vitamins. Interested parties are invited to submit comments by 28 March. All comments received will be published, EFSA says.
