Danisco Launches ‘Sustainable Emulsifiers’ for Food Ingredients

Danisco says it is the first food ingredient producer to offer customers “sustainable emulsifiers,” which it bases on either palm oil or palm kernal oil sourced mainly from Malaysia and Indonesia. Separately, Danisco says the high-growth bio actives market will continue to be an area of focus. “In the coming years, bio actives will generate growth of between 5%-7% in a market growing by up to 10% every year” and valued at about $485 billion, Danisco says.
