Arsenal's Niagara Fiber acquires Allied Blending

Niagara Fiber, which is owned by private equity firm Arsenal Capital (New York), has announced it will acquire Allied Blending & Ingredients (ABI; Keokuk, IA), a maker of fiber and starch products for the dairy and tortilla markets. The deal is the third acquisition for Niagara Fiber under Arsenal, after International Fiber Corporation and Fibred, both of which were acquired last year.
