Arsenal Capital's IFC buys soy fibers firm

International Fiber Corporation (IFC; North Tonawanda, NY) says it has acquired Fibred (Cumberland, MD), a maker of dietary soy fiber for foodstuffs. Fibred’s products go into baked goods, meats, cereals, dairy products, and health foods, among others, IFC says. IFC was acquired by private equity firm Arsenal Capital (New York) in August, and this is the company’s first acquisition under Arsenal.
