Cargill-Evolva fermentation-based steviol program moves to pilot phase ahead of schedule

Cargill and Evolva's (Reinach, Switzerland) development program for fermentation-based steviol glycosides is moving into pilot scale ahead of schedule, potentially making the process available for commercialization sooner than expected, the companies announced today. Cargill and Evolva entered into an agreement earlier this year jointly to develop and commercialize fermentation-based steviol glycosides.
