Kemira sells food, pharma assets to Niacet; accelerates one-off charges

Kemira has agreed to sell its food and pharmaceutical businesses, together with its acetate-based chemicals operation, to Niacet (Niagara Falls, NY). These businesses form part of Kemira’s ChemSolutions segment. A manufacturing site at Tiel, Netherlands, will be transferred from Kemira ChemSolutions to Niacet, under the terms of the deal.
