Oxea launches 3-methylbutanol production

Oxea today announced it is expanding its alcohols portfolio to include production of 3-methylbutanol, or isoamyl alcohol, at the company's Oberhausen, Germany site. The product, which Oxea is already selling commercially, is an important ingredient for flavors and fragrances, paints and coatings, fuel and lubricant additives, and other specialties sectors.
