The new capacity is designed to meet growing demand for the material on the world markets. Completion of the project is scheduled for the first half of 2012. Financial details and specific capacity figures were not disclosed. The additional quantities of thymol, crude menthol and D,I-menthol will enable Lanxess’s long-time contract customer Symrise (Holzminden, Germany), a flavors and...
