Kerry Group Acquires Cargill's Global Flavors Business

Kerry Group (Tralee, Ireland) says it has acquired Cargill's global flavors business for $230 million. The deal strengthens Kerry's capability to provide integrated solutions across all food and beverage markets and expands its business in emerging markets. Cargill’s flavors unit operates in 22 countries, has production facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia, and employs about 700 workers.
