IFF to Pay Mane $40 Million to Settle Patent Claims

International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) says it will make a $40-million royalty payment to V. Mane Fils (Mane; Le Bar-sur-Loup, France) to settle patent and non-patent claims brought by Mane in U.S. District Court in Trenton, NJ, related to IFF’s marketing and sale of food and beverage products containing monomenthyl succinate (MMS).
