Givaudan reports higher third-quarter and nine months sales

Fragrance and flavors group Givaudan (Geneva) today reported a 3.7% increase in third-quarter sales to 1.09 billion Swiss francs ($1.2 billion) on a like-for-like basis with the fragrance division recording a 2.6% rise to SF532 million and flavors rising 4.8%  to SF561 million. In Swiss francs, however, third quarter sales were 1.1% lower in the third-quarter with fragrance division recording a 1.3% decline and flavors a slide of 0.9%.
