Givaudan completes acquisition of cosmetic ingredients producer

Givaudan says it has completed the previously announced acquisition of cosmetic ingredients producer Soliance (Pomacle, France). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed but Givaudan says that Soliance would have added SF25 million to Givaudan's 2013 sales on a proforma basis. Soliance develops active ingredients derived from vegetable sources, microorganisms, and microalgae. It has production at Pomacle and Ile Grande, France. The business will be absorbed into Givaudan's fragrance division. It is Givaudan's first acquisition since that of Quest in 2007...
